![]() Cripp’s Pink Cripps Pink is an apple variety from Australia. Its distinctive pink/red color and pleasant flavor make it an interesting variety. It’s normally considered a variety for eating fresh, but it is a good stewing apple – the dense chewy flesh softens nicely with cooking.

Peach Varieties
Early RedhavenThese are the first peaches off the tree in early summer. Best for jam, slicing with ice cream, dribbling off your chin. A true cling, don’t try to quarter them for canning. Nice fresh eating peach.

RedhavenRedhaven ripens early in the season and is usually freestone, although some years it can be a little ‘clingy’. It has a wonderful red color over a yellow background. The flesh is yellow with a little red near the pit. It is juicy, sweet, and very tasty.

Pear Varieties
BartlettExcellent for fresh eating and canning. Fruit is medium large and green when picked. Yellow when ripe. Flemish BeautyFruit is large, blushed, attractive with good flavour. Excellent fresh eating and canning. Red D anjouThis winter dessert pear is harvested in mid-September but is available nearly year around due to its fine storage quality when kept in controlled atmosphere. A medium to large sized pear, it is highly coloured with a dark red hue, sweet and richly flavored when ripe. |
BoscThe Bosc pear has a naturally occurring russet, which covers the surface, giving it a golden appearance. Bosc pears remain firm and keep their elegant shape during cooking. Harrow DelightFruit is medium size and similar to Bartlett in appearance with excellent flavour and smooth flesh. Ground color is yellow with a red blush. Early bearing. |
