Come spend the day and hike our two\u00a0<strong>nature trails<\/strong>\u00a0(approximately 3 km round trip). Pack a lunch and enjoy it at our <strong>picnic tables<\/strong> in the great outdoors. We invite you to explore our farm and let nature melt away the hustle and bustle of the city as you take in the scenery.<\/p>\n<p>During mid-August to early October, you can witness the inspiring strength and persistence of <strong>salmon swimming up the Ganaraska River<\/strong> to spawn. <a href=\"http:\/\/visitporthope.ca\/fishing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Find out more about the seasonal migration of salmon <\/a>and trout\u00a0up the \u201cThe Ganny\u201d.\u00a0The Ganaraska River Watch brochure is available in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitporthope.ca\/abs-file-download\/id\/jO3DWSv29J1aM95MeOQFIQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">English<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitporthope.ca\/abs-file-download\/id\/kNlp6NL6Cm5W1B5y_dgzzQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mandarin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bring your beach towels and head over to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cobourgtourism.ca\/adventures\/our-famous-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cobourg Beach<\/a>,<\/strong> or trade your laptop for a fishing rod.
